Admission of additional students to this class is upon request.<\/em><\/p>\n When & Where:<\/strong>\u00a0Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 at the Kansas City Ballet Bolender Center.<\/p>\n Flamenco Class for Adult Mixed Levels<\/strong>\u00a0is an Adult course which introduces the dancer to basic flamenco elements.\u00a0\u00a0The emphasis is on body placement, use of arms and hands, the rhythmic clapping called \u2018palmas\u2019 and basic foot patterns.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Each new semester focuses on a new choreography but the emphasis is on learning basics and reviewing patterns, working the dancer\u2019s coordination and memory skills.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Learning to play castanets is an option given to students who attend regularly.<\/p>\n Payment Arrangements:<\/strong>\u00a0Payment is arranged through the Kansas City Ballet School.<\/p>\n When & Where:<\/strong>\u00a0Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00,\u00a0by invitation or audition only<\/em>.<\/p>\n Intermediate\/Advanced Flamenco Class<\/strong> requires that a dancer be familiar with basic castanet technique, and familiar with alegrias, solea, sevillanas, fandangos, tangos, siguirilla and bulerias.<\/p>\n Payment Arrangements:<\/strong>\u00a0Payment is due at the beginning of each class.<\/p>\n When & Where:<\/strong>\u00a0Saturdays from 12:00 to 1:00<\/p>\n The content of the class is focused on student requests\u00a0\u00a0to review specific choreography and combinations from classes.<\/p>\nFlamenco Technique Class<\/h3>\n
